DibDab is a free audio story app for ages 13 and up. Stories are PG-13.

A person reviews every story

No community story goes live until someone on our team has read it. Nothing written in Cowriter is published automatically. Submissions are also screened for objectionable content before they reach a reviewer.

Report a story

In the app, open the story, tap ••• and choose Report story. The story is hidden for you straight away and we review the report within 24 hours. Stories that break the rules are removed, and writers who repeatedly break them are removed from DibDab. You can also email support@dibdab.xyz.

Block a writer

Tap ••• on any community story and choose Block writer. You won’t see their stories again, and they won’t be told. Manage blocked writers in Me → Safety & support.

Age rules

You must be 13 or older to use DibDab. Writing with Cowriter, submitting stories, entering the $5,000 reward and earning money from stories are for adults 18 and over.

Community Guidelines

• No hate or harassment. No attacks on people for who they are, and no bullying.
• Keep it PG-13. Romance can be steamy, never explicit. No sexual content involving anyone under 18, ever.
• No glorifying self-harm. Dark themes are fine. Instructions or encouragement are not.
• No real people’s private info. No names, numbers, addresses or photos of real people.
• Only write what’s yours. No copying other writers’ work.
• No spam or scams. No links, promotions or asking listeners to contact you.

DibDab has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
